Slabbinck goes digital
Bruges-based Kunstateliers Slabbinck has been making liturgical apparel for three generations. Now customers around the world can design their own chasubles, stoles and other ecclesiastical fabrics, which are then hand-made in the Slabbinck workshop. They can do this online, using the configurator.
Priest designers
Slabbinck wants to give customers exactly what they want. Since 1903, the liturgical fabric producer has always set great store by personalised service. Nowadays also online. A very large range of articles is available to order in the online store, and many of them can be customised. This is made easier by the recent addition of the ‘Create your Slabbinck’ configurator.
Flexible configurator
Completely separate from the Slabbinck website and online store, the configurator can be used without the need to log in. That means everyone can design their own parament in just a few short steps, selecting the fabric, colour, decoration, model and more. After checking the final design (which can be downloaded as a PDF for sharing and consultation), customers can confirm the order and pay securely.
Technical challenge
The configurator works seamlessly, but it was quite a challenge to create, demanding all the expertise of our developers.
