Van Mossel opens with eyes on the stars

It was written in the stars, the opening of Van Mossel Vereenooghe’s Star Showrooms was a stellar occasion. Our event organisational skills ensured a brilliant opening weekend at the Knokke-Heist and Bruges sites.

Stellar concept 

Van Mossel Vereenooghe asked our event team to create a glittering concept for their new showrooms in Knokke-Heist and Bruges. We eased into the driving seat to create the concept: ‘Eyes on the stars’. The clear link to the Van Mossel Vereenooghe brand and vision ensures this was an idea ‘made in heaven’. Which was confirmed by the event communication. From original invitation box to digital registration platform. We took advantage of every touchpoint to get the invitees along to the opening.

Stellar showroom 

We filled the showroom with the stars of the Mercedes range – from the latest releases to the most iconic models. And as if that was not enough ‘star quality’, we also treated the guests to inspiring speeches by Eric Berkhof (General Manager, Van Mossel Automotive Group), Karl Schregle (Head of Mercedes-Benz Region Europe) and Koen Claessen (CEO Van Mossel Automotive BeLux).

Four-day opening event 

We spread the opening over a whole four days to allow us to welcome B2B and B2C customers to the showroom alongside the 100 VIP guests on Thursday. We received 350 B2B customers at the Knokke showroom on Friday and another 550 B2C customers in Bruges a day later. The two showrooms then opened their doors to the general public

Nights with the stars 

Everyone was welcome on Saturday and Sunday morning for a full breakfast under the heavens (and among the cars). The ‘Eyes on the stars’ opening was the perfect opportunity for consumers to explore what Mercedes-Benz has to offer and take advantage of the ‘Star Days’ discount. Talk about a stellar event!
